Naarm-based creative writer, screenwriter and communicator
I’m a dedicated creative writer across forms and genre. I have qualifications in writing, editing and screenwriting. I’m also experienced in communications, community education and grant writing.
I love playing with words to form new worlds, combining a mix of humour, pathos and the bizarre. I’m inspired by nature and the tangle of family relationships.
I teach creative writing, makes short films and carriy a laptop in my handbag.

I’m now a Screen Programmer for Environmental Film Festival Australia!
In October, my short play will be performed in a showcase of the talented writers from the Gasworks Script Lab. Produced by Melbourne Writers’ Theatre at Gasworks Art Park. Stay tuned for tickets.

I’m currently teaching two Creative Writing classes:
Story consultation
I love helping writers reach their potential. Together we can:
- explore and grow your idea
- answer the deep questions that will help you realise your story
- target problem areas. I can provide a formal report with development suggestions.
I’ve worked with emerging writers on scripts (short film, web series, television and features), novels and short stories. I’m trained in script consolation & evaluation and structural & copy editing.
TV and film script development
I’m an RMIT trained screenwriter with experience writing and developing my own and others tv and film scripts.
I’ve worked for Big and Little Films as a researcher and note-taker and observed the tv development processes during a student placement with Susan Bower. My TV spec script was a winner of the Fan Fiction Film and Writing Festival.

The key is building an authentic connection. You know your customer or audience. I know how to create language that helps you connect with them. I’m a storyteller. I can build the narrative which shows how your product, service or message fulfils their needs.
I also love strong, simple and easy to understand language. I write with impact so people hear your message.
