Event copy for AACTA
At a placement with the Australian Academy of Film and Television Arts (AACTA) I helped writing event copy for the ACCTA Awards Festival plus some social media posts.
Proposal writing for All In Collective
Artist Dr. Michael Marks invited me to become part of a public art collective as a grant writer and environmental expert. So far, I’ve helped the collective apply for three mural commissions.
Blackberry education videos
I wrote and produced four education videos for weedy Blackberry identification and control in Nillumbik. To make a complex topic digestible, I broke up the videos into multiple parts. We filmed it on a horse property in Warrandyte.
Common Weeds of Nillumbik
I worked on a team to create the 73-page A5 Common Weeds of Nillumbik booklet. My role was to produce the main written content and edit the weed descriptions. The booklet has had multiple reprints with over 1000 copies distributed.
Thistles of Nillumbik Factsheet
I designed, sourced photos and wrote a 2-page factsheet on identifying and controlling thistles – one of property owners most hated weeds!
